On October 6, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision tosubmit an application to the Bureau Internationaldes Exhibitions for Ukraine’s participation (Odessa) in the selection of a candidate country for World Expo “Expo-2030”.
World Exhibitions or “Expo” are the most prestigious exhibition events in the world, where participating countries demonstrate the uniqueness of their cultures and national identity, their economic and scientific and technological potential.
The theme of the planned exhibitionis “Renaissance. Technologies. Future”.
The decision on the venue of the World’s Exhibitions is made by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) by secret ballot.
Odessa is the candidate for the World Exhibition. This city is one of the key economic and historical and cultural centers of Ukraine.
“D Group Expo-2030” initiated the project and worked together with the Odessa Regional State Administration, Odessa City Council, Agency for Regional Development of Odesa region with the support of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine to develop the concept and roadmap of the project.
“D Group Expo-2030” is a team of professionals with many years of experience in finance, construction, architecture and marketing: Dmitry Starovoitov, Vadim Dashut, Eugene Levenberg, Galina Butova and Victoria Melnichenko.
“The exhibition will bring great benefits to both the State and the city of Odessa,” comments G. Butova. “Expo-2030” should become the engine of Ukraine’s economic progress. The exhibitionwill consolidate business, government and the public, the world’s attention will be focused on Ukraine, it will help to attract investments and establish Ukraine in the international arena as a strong, reliable partner. This will be a real breakthrough!”
Dmitry Starovoitov adds: “Countries and economies of the world are getting closer every day, communications and cooperation are getting faster. Therefore, we see a resource for development in attracting investments. Ukraine must show its strengths and, if it wins, we should prepare and hold the World Exhibition in a worthy way. And then the result will not take long. “
Further coordination and management of the project will be carried out by the Organizing Committee of the World Exhibition in Odessa. It will include representatives of: Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Ministry of Finance of Ukraine and other ministries, Odessa Regional State Administration, Odessa Regional Council, Odessa City Council, Investment Council of the region, Agency for Regional Development of Odesa region, initiators of the project “D Group Expo-2030″and other business representatives.
